I trip to Ireland
Ireland had been on my list for a long time, but nothing quite prepares you for how the country feels once you’re there.
The landscapes are impossibly green, the weather shifts by the minute, and everything carries a sense of age, like the land remembers more than it lets on.
A windy, rainy experience at the Cliffs of Mober
The highlight of the trip, without question, was the journey to see the Cliffs of Moher
Getting there felt like part of the experience itself. The drive winds through small towns, open farmland, and narrow roads that seem to lead nowhere until suddenly, they do. When I finally stepped out of the bus, the wind hit first. Not a breeze, but a constant, forceful presence, as if the Atlantic was announcing itself before you ever saw it.
What stuck with me most wasn’t just the view, but the stillness that came with it. Despite the wind and the people nearby, there was a quiet sense of perspective standing there. A reminder of how vast the world is, and how grounding it can be to step outside of routine and stand somewhere that’s been shaped by time, weather, and water for millions of years.
